Our focus is to make the certification process as simple as possible. From the moment you contact us, we will be there to support you and ensure the process is as clear and straightforward as possible.
Unlike other organisations, we make sure you have direct contact with your auditor as soon as your audit plan is approved. This means you can quickly and easily get the correct answers to any questions you might have in advance of your audit.
The UK Metrology Board was established in 2022 to provide an independent UK-based Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) for the placement of weighing and measuring instruments on the market in England, Scotland and Wales, using UKCA marking - CE+UKNI marking (applicable in Northern Ireland), and ISO 9001 certification.
Having the correct certifications in place is crucial for running your business effectively. However, it can be costly and time-consuming, which is why we aim to make the certification process as quick and simple as possible. Subject to the scope of your project, we aim to have you fully certified in as little as four to six weeks.
